STORY – Clean inside and out!
COLOURING - http://www.sermons4kids.com/clean_or_unclean_colorpg.pdf

CRAFT – Each child has a cardboard circle to decorate as a “soap bubble”, with the following verse on it:
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and put a new and right spirit within me.
Psalm 51:10
To decorate we had lots of bubble and heart shapes (on card padded behind with a thin layer of foam) to stick on - so the picture has a 3D bubbly effect :-)

Peace and Joy

Being family in God’s name
We are named for Jesus’ mother
Loving service was her aim

READING John 6:35-51
STORY: Jesus is the bread of life!
CRAFT: We are making bread today! Children will be given some dough to knead, and then we will put it in the oven to cook for their morning tea.
COLOURING: http://www.sermons4kids.com/jesus_bread_of_life_colorpg.htm
We had a lot of fun last week. First we talked about gifts of the spirit. Then about the ministries that people get involved in, and what sort of gifts they might have. Quite a lively discussion about teachers they knew and such. Then we cut out pictures from old magazine to create a poster of Christians at work. In the meantime, creche were decorating arrowroot biscuits to make "God loves me" biscuits. So it wasn't long before the entire group had absconded back to kindergarten! So a great poster and delicious biscuits - what a great morning :-)
